Peter Frampton Custom Guitar

This is my 16th Dialectal journal:

The Peter Frampton Les Paul Special comes from the Gibson Custom Shop's Inspired By series of artist-developed guitars. Using his original 1958 Gibson Les Paul Junior as a jumping off point, Peter Frampton worked closely with the Gibson Custom Shop luthiers to develop an electric guitar that would embody the keen vintage sensibilities and highly personalized specs he is known for. At first glance, the Peter Frampton Signature model looks like the classic Les Paul Junior it's based on, but closer inspection reveals several unique specs.

Now for my rendition:

You would think that to sound like The Great Peter Frampton you would have to suddenly have to become him. You used to have to until suddenly along came something called the Guitar Center Custom shop. Suddenly blown out of the water comes a new possibility: YOU could own what look like the Peter Frampton guitar! It is actually a replica designed by Peter, and it looks just like Peter's Junior Gibson Les Paul. Go and buy the Frampton guitar and look just like one of the greats!
This is the 15th of my Dialectal Journals.

Stevie Ray Vaughan was not yet a star on his 26th birthday, Oct. 3, 1980, when his wife, Lenora “Lenny” Vaughan, gave him a used Stratocaster guitar that had recently caught his eye in an Austin, Texas, pawnshop. Though already a phenomenal guitarist, many still viewed him as “Jimmie Vaughan’s little brother,” which was perfectly OK with the easygoing young musician.

MY FEEDBACK:

Though this is not a complete paragraph it caught my eye. So as a fan of SRV I couldn't resist. This paragraph gives you a clearer view on SRV's personality. For a three sentence paragraph one can not say much other than it is put together well.
This is the 14th of my Dialectal Journals:

No one has had a bigger impact on the style and sound of hard rock guitar than the deservedly legendary Jimmy Page. As the musical mastermind of Led Zeppelin, Page’s tone, playing, and phrasing made him one of the most influential musicians of the past 50 years. In Zeppelin’s early days, Page relied heavily on a three-pickup 1960 Les Paul Custom “Black Beauty” with a Bigsby tailpiece. Unfortunately, the guitar was stolen in 1970 at an airport and never recovered. Page has always felt that that particular guitar was “the one that got away.” Gibson proudly returns Page’s cherished lost guitar in the form of the new Gibson Custom Shop Jimmy Page Les Paul Custom—a painstaking recreation of that iconic instrument, with the addition of some of the most innovative electronics to ever grace a Les Paul. The result is this stunning “Black Beauty” with a slim-profile neck, Page BurstBucker pickups, gold Bigsby vibrato and an innovative six-position toggle that lets you isolate the neck and bridge pickups, or add the middle in any combination. A stop tailpiece version is also available. Limited to a worldwide edition of just 500 guitars, the Gibson Custom Shop Jimmy Page Les Paul Custom is Gibson’s heartfelt tribute to a true legend and to the guitar he loved and lost.

MY FEEDBACK:

This whole paragraph is wonderfully written and the guitar itself is beautiful. with triple pickups, as soon as you see it you say one word,"WOW!" There is a certain amount that can be said for something that has already been spoken for and I think that I have found that place.

Jeff Beck Custom Shop Guitar

This is the 13th of my dialectal journals.

Jeff Beck's Stratocaster has been an integral part of his signature sound from his early days with the Yardbirds and the Jeff Beck Group through his amazingly varied solo career. Made by the Fender Custom Shop for the Custom Artist Series, the Jeff Beck Signature electric guitar features a thinner C-shaped maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard and a contoured heel for easier access to the higher registers. Further, it's wired with dual ceramic Noiseless pickups and has a 2-point synchronized tremolo with stainless steel saddles, LSR roller nut, aged knobs and pickup covers, and Beck's signature on the headstock. The Fender guitar kit includes vintage tweed case, strap, cable, truss rod adjustment wrench, and saddle height adjustment wrench.

My rendition:

Have you been listening to possibly Rod Stewart and wondering who that awe inspiring guitarist is? Now you don't have to wonder! The guitarist is Jeff Beck and you can even get his beautiful Fender Strat! With numerous extra that do not come stock on a regular Strat you can have your guitar sound and look just like one of the pros. Show it to your buddies or just keep it hidden it will impress even the littlest kids.

Dean Hardtail Doubleneck Electric Guitar

This is the thirteenth of my dialectal journals.

Playing this Dean Hardtail Electric Guitar is like a dream date with gorgeous twins. The guitar's deeply quilted maple top looks incredible, especially in this body width to accommodate the two necks. Both C-shape necks are set and feature the ultra-comfortable molded heel and rosewood fingerboard. Excellent balance makes this double-neck guitar comfortable even during long sets. The Dean humbuckers sound great with both the 12- and 6-strings. 3-way pickup selector for each neck, Grover tuners (minis on the 12-string), tune-o-matic bridges, Dean tailpieces, nickel hardware. This Dean double neck guitar is made in a limited run of 200.

This is a wonderful paragraph with exquisite word use. Again this is a paragraph that gets straight to the point. No fooling around just blow fooling around out of the water. I have seen better sales pitches to write about but this is a great paragraph. Though I don't think that Dean guitars are of exceptional playability, sound or looks, but this one is a good one with a shocking look with a exceptional design. I don't know what I would do if I personally had a chance to buy this guitar. I do know that any guitar that was given to me(as in for free)I know that I would take it. Who would not take a guitar that was free. No matter what kind(acoustic or otherwise)I would take it. No matter what brand I would take it. So all in all and through all any guitar that is free I would take.
This is the twelvth of my dialectal journals.

The LP-295's hand-pointed, cream-colored pickguard with gold flowers is also styled after the ES-295, as are the split parallelogram inlays, and the chrome Bigsby tailpiece. Graphite nut and bridge saddles offer better string control when using the Bigsby. The guitar's body is solid mahogany with a maple top and single-ply cream binding, smoothed with Gibson's classic Goldtop finish. The headstock is also bound in single-ply cream binding and sports Gibson's traditional holly symbol.

My rendition:

Want a rare example of stunning beauty crossed with a mean look and sound. You've found it. The Les Paul-295 is a cross between a mean rockin' and a prisine beauty queen. With this guitar in the hands of a good guitar player you could redefine the definition music and put your face where Webster would put the description.
This is the eleventh of my dialectal journals.

Gibson's Robot Guitar, the world's first guitar with robotic tuning technology is available once again. You don't have to tune up your car every time you drive it. Now you don't have to tune up your guitar every time you play it. The Robot Guitar does it for you. Just plug it in, dial in the tuning, strum the strings, and play.

This is a wonderful paragraph with a wonderful analogy. I would not have thought about comparing a car to a guitar. There is brilliance buried not far down.
This is the tenth of my dialectal journals and it is week two.

If you yearn for the clean tone of a Strat and the spacious, jangly sound of a 12-string, you can satisfy both desires now that the Fender Stratocaster 12-String Electric Guitar is available again. Solid alder body. Maple neck with rosewood fingerboard. Vintage pickups. One volume and 2 tone controls and 5-way switching.

This is a good paragraph but it is quite short. Though that is not always a bad thing. At times I prefer a short paragraph to a long one. As everyone probably does.

Gibson ES-339

This is the third week of the dialectal journals and this is my ninth.

The ES-339 is the next generation from the Custom Shop of Gibson's iconic ES electric guitars. It goes where no guitar has gone before with a bold, new semi-hollow tone that is rich with expressive, even stinging, overtones. The ES-339 has some exciting enhancements including Memphis Tone electronics, outer rim output jack, and reduced dimensions and weight.

Now for my rendition.

Wanting a Gibson ES-330 but you have problem with the bulkiness so you are just going to stick with you Les Paul? The ES-339 has what you want. The size of a Les Paul, the shape and sound of a 330. So, for the perfect guitar run for the Gibson ES-339

A Little SG History

This is the eighth of my dialectal journals.

In 1961, the Les Paul was redesigned with a thinner body and 2 sharp cutaway horns that making the upper frets more accessible while lowering production costs. The new guitar was popular, but Les Paul (the guitarist) did not like it and asked to have his name removed. Gibson renamed the model the "SG" which was short for "solid guitar". Though Les Paul's name was officially removed from the model in 1961, the plastic Les Paul nameplates (positioned between the rhythm pickup and fingerboard) were in abundance in the Gibson factory and SG models having these nameplates were built and sold by Gibson up to end of 1963. SGs have been the choice of world-class artists such as Pete Townsend, Eric Clapton, Tony Iommi, and Angus Young.

Now my add-on

Other great guitarists such as Shane Porter, and Jack Black have played this guitar through and through. One must see that the greats truly use the SG.

Standard Telecaster

This is the seventh of eight of the dialectal journals that I am writing.

The guitar that started a musical revolution. So simple, yet so incredibly versatile. Since the Telecaster's introduction in the early '50s, professional guitarists of all musical genres have relied on the Fender Tele for its powerful tone and smooth playability. Today's Standard Telecaster incorporates the best of the old and new with a fast action maple neck, cast/sealed machine heads, 2 re-voiced single coil pickups for hot modern sounds, and 6-saddle string thru bridge.

Now for my add on.

Played by the greats, the standard Tele has a great back ground to look at while if you look into the future you may see yourself playing an incredibly versatile guitar for any genre, and it may just be one of these very guitars. So look into the future with your minds eye and pick a fender.

The Pros Rely on the Fender Custom Shop

This is the sixth of the eight dialectal journals that I will be writing that i know of so far. This entry is going to be about a route that one could run if they were looking for a guitar that they wanted to pay over two-thousand dollars for. I do not know who wrote this passage, but here it is.

Legends like Jeff Beck, Eric Johnson and Andy Summers turn to the Fender Custom Shop when they want to design a new signature model or duplicate an old favorite. Even if your not a famous guitarist you can still own a fender Custom Shop guitar built by master craftsmen like Todd Krause, Chris Fleming and Yuriy - the same guys who work with the pros.

This is one of the shorter writings that i have placed on this page. Though the thought is the same. This paragraph is quite simple though it gets straight to the point.

The Guitar Playin' Maniac, Slash

Th is is the next week and I have a very well written piece for all today. It is written by Nick Bowcott. It is the intro for an interview with the rock n' roll artist Slash from both Guns n' Roses and a newer band called Velvet Revolver. So now for the paragraph.

Slash is more than just a guitar hero - he's a modern day cultural icon, achieving what many believe to be impossible, by hitting the big time not once but two times - first with Gun's N' Roses in the late '80s/ early '90s and then again today with the Grammy winning, multi platinum, supergroup Velvet Revolver. Slash's double barreled success has proven that lightning can indeed strike twice. In fact, in the 21 years that have passed since the classic G N R debut, Appetite for Destruction, was unleashed on the unsuspecting public, the resume' Slash has built up for himself is nothing short of staggering - it's literally made him a living legend.

This whole paragraph is flattery to get on the good side of the millionaire Slash. Though I do not prefer the new band that he has thrown together I thought this was a good subject to write a retort about. The opening sentence sets a great foundation, though it is a very decorated foundation made more likely of molten gold than of concrete. This entire paragraph is put together quite well and the use of the English language in this is stunning. All through all it is a very well written sales pitch to sell the new Slash signature Gibson and Epiphone Les Pauls.

Limited Edition G-400 Custom

This is the final of my dialectal journals. This one is about a guitar that is made by Epiphone.

Stunningly detailed recreation of the three pickup SG. Three powerful Alnico classic humbuckers with individual bridge, middle and neck volume controls and one master tone control deliver near -infinite tonal blends. Add gold hardware and a maestro tremolo and you've got a rock and roll machine that looks as good as it sounds.

The use of words in the topic sentence leaves my mouth wide open with envy. The whole entire use of words in this paragraph leaves one jumping up and down with excitement wondering what is going to come next. I think that this by far is the best paragraph that I have written about so far. The topic sentence and concluding sentence are wonderful and the body of the paragraph is awe-inspiring. Though it might just be that I have the guitar only without the Maestro tremolo bar.

Plug in-Rock Out

This is the third of the Dialectal journals. This one is about a new item on retail by Vox amps.

Introducing amPlug - the headphone guitar amp that lets you enjoy serious guitar sound, fast. Jamming late at night? Don't want to wake the neighbors? Maybe you want to work out a lick with your mp3 player without taking the time to set up your amp. AmPlug is the answer. Simply plug this palm-sized headphone guitar amp directly into your guitar, and enjoy serious guitar sound anywhere, anytime. It's even available in three different sound styles: VOX AC30, Classic rock, based on a UK-made amplifier head, and Metal, based on a California-made high gain amplifier head.

Yet again the writers of these pieces stun me with their brilliance. The topic sentence is wonderful, bringing out the best in Vox sales pitches. The following sentence is not great if you were writing a paragraph for school but it is okay. The same with the third sentence. This whole paragraph is great after those two. though it is a sales pitch to try to get people to buy their product, and it is successful to me.

Godin Bio

This is the second of these language arts assignments that I have done. This one is about the founder of Godin Guitars.

For over thirty years, Robert Godin has been pushing the boundaries of both acoustic and electric guitar design. Robert's innovations in semi-acoustic guitars, multi voice instruments, and synth access have made Godin an industry leader in all of these categories. Godin's ongoing commitment to value and innovation has never been more evident than in the 2005 model lineup.

Unlike the first paragraph is in proper form so the whole paragraph is going to get better feedback from myself. The topic sentence is great, very proper and right to the point. The second gives you more of a clear view of what the guitar company Godin does. The third sentence(the concluding sentence)is clear and decisive.

little spiders(guitar amplifiers)

This is for my language arts class through ACE Academy.(#1)

I am going to list a paragraph that someone else wrote and I am going to say what I think of what they wrote sentence by sentence. Here is the Paragraph. Written by Leon Downs published by the Musicians friend catalog.

These smaller Spiders are basically intended as practice and jam amps, but don't think of them as wimpy. Even the 15 puts out enough sound to wake the entire block if you asked it to. It's certainly jam capable. The 30-watter can get flat out loud. It is perfectly gig capable and its easy-to-use layout makes it ideal on stage.

The topic sentenc does not really go with the conclusion and if the writter would hype the topic sentence up with higher vocabulary words and it would make the whole paragraph better by my standards. The second sentence is better just bacause it gives of more "spunk" which builds up more of an interest in the subject. As for the third paragraph(which i think is the worst of all)it is to simple and it doesn't feel like it fits into the paragraph, the only thing that it feels like is a filler to make it look longer. The same with the fourth. The concluding sentence is like I said it does not fit with the topic sentence.

This is the end of the first of these(can't remember what Mrs. Zeller's word for it).
