The Guitar Playin' Maniac, Slash

Th is is the next week and I have a very well written piece for all today. It is written by Nick Bowcott. It is the intro for an interview with the rock n' roll artist Slash from both Guns n' Roses and a newer band called Velvet Revolver. So now for the paragraph.

Slash is more than just a guitar hero - he's a modern day cultural icon, achieving what many believe to be impossible, by hitting the big time not once but two times - first with Gun's N' Roses in the late '80s/ early '90s and then again today with the Grammy winning, multi platinum, supergroup Velvet Revolver. Slash's double barreled success has proven that lightning can indeed strike twice. In fact, in the 21 years that have passed since the classic G N R debut, Appetite for Destruction, was unleashed on the unsuspecting public, the resume' Slash has built up for himself is nothing short of staggering - it's literally made him a living legend.

This whole paragraph is flattery to get on the good side of the millionaire Slash. Though I do not prefer the new band that he has thrown together I thought this was a good subject to write a retort about. The opening sentence sets a great foundation, though it is a very decorated foundation made more likely of molten gold than of concrete. This entire paragraph is put together quite well and the use of the English language in this is stunning. All through all it is a very well written sales pitch to sell the new Slash signature Gibson and Epiphone Les Pauls.
